Time for a serious makeover.
Last month, the president of one of the country’s premier women’s colleges, Debora Spar of Barnard College, submitted an amazing op-ed to Newsweek begging women to stop trying to be perfect. It sparked a heated debate about gender issues, the financial times, and the meaning of having it all. Since launching Luly B. Inc., my purpose has been to empower mom entrepreneurs to have it all. For me, “having it all” means having a great marriage, a great relationship with my children, and a great business. After reading the piece in Newsweek and listening to a follow-up interview on NPR, I was proud that many of the tips I have included in my “30-Day Mindset Makeover for Mom Entrepreneurs” were discussed.
In the FREE video series, “30-Day Mindset Makeover for Mom Entrepreneurs,” you will hear from me about my experiences; how I battled my incompatible expectations, suffered when I fell short, and ultimately found ways to make myself and my family happy.
As working moms, we’ve developed this notion that we have to do it all by ourselves. And that’s insane! Having it all means making choices, trade-offs, and compromises. So, like Debora Spar, I am going to beg you to stop trying to be perfect. Because your best is just as good!

I am not selling anything. I'm just sharing from my nine years of anxiety, anger, and frustration of trying to do it all and be it all. I have relieved myself of the guilt, self-doubt, and fear that held me back for so long.
I enjoyed my makeover. I have been detoxified. And now, it’s your turn.
